Small Faces Home Construction is a division of Impact Holdings Ltd, a corporation established in 1982 and now registered in the province of Manitoba.
The president and chief executive officer, Henry P. Vroom, is a person with an extensive business background in Calgary.
Henry was introduced to new home construction in February of 1999 by joining one of the finest builders in Calgary, Albi Homes. His duties involved sales, design, field supervision and after-sale customer care.
Henry then went to Talisman Homes, also a Calgary company, in the capacity of area manager where he was again involved in all aspects of pre-sale, construction and post-sale responsibilities.
A new arrival to Winnipeg in 2004, Henry studied computer assisted design at Winnipeg Technical College and is a graduate of AutoCad Level II. With this newly acquired skill, he is capable of producing his own designs and blueprints.
The show home constructed at 797 Charleswood Road is the first Henry Vroom has undertaken in Winnipeg. He designed and supervised every aspect of the construction cycle from original drawings through completion of the project.
If a short phrase can encapsulate the theme of Small Faces, it would be optimal value. Consideration for the environment, durability, minimal maintenance, low energy consumption and effective space utilization are the key priorities of the company. The result to the home owner is a sense of money well spent at the onset with tangible benefits that extend well into the future.
A specialty of Small Faces is the creative utilization of smaller or oddly configured lots, a skill reflected in the trade name. Narrow lots can only have narrow homes. Narrow homes have a small street-side face. Hence, small faces.
